• $2.00 OFF if you pre-register with your own ChampionChip

• Join the Florida Striders Track Club when you register,and pay the reduced entry fee.

Be sure and check the box on the entry form where you plan to pick up your packet. Packets will be available at the following 1st Place Sports locations.

All packets not picked up will be available at the Orange Park 1st Place Sports store on race day.

Awards

Medals will be given to all 5K Finishers!!

5K AWARDS
Awards will be given to Top 3 overall male and female,Top Master’s male and female, Top Grandmaster’s male and female. Awards will also be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age group as follows: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 & over. The awards ceremony will be held at the Orange Park Town Hall at 9:30 AM.

Course Information / Timing

The NEW 5K course starts at 1st Place Sports and finishes at the Orange Park Town Hall. The race will be timed using the ChampionChip (chip must be worn on your shoe or ankle during the race). Do not wear your personal chip if you sign up on race day. USATF Certified Course (FL11047EBM)

Sunshine Rotary Pancake Breakfast

The Florida Striders Track Club has partnered with the Sunshine Rotary Club of Orange park for a pancake breakfast. The proceeds with go to Honor Air. Kids $1, Adults $2

Starting at 9:00AM there is a FREE one mile fun run with awards for all finishers! There is no charge for the Fun Run, but you must complete an Entry Form which is downloadable above, or will be available on Race Day. NO MAIL IN ENTRIES !.

Parking

Parking will be available across the street from the from the Orange Park Town Hall and in front of 1st Place Sports on Highway 17.

T-Shirts

The race fee includes refreshments and a high-quality technical running shirt!

Technical shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered 5K entrants.

Message from the Memorial Day Race Director: I have had a lot of inquiries about strollers in the Memorial Day 5K. We highly discourage strollers at our races. We do not expressly forbid them, but considering we had someone injured due to a stroller in this race previously, we prefer not to have them. That being said, if you do decide to bring one, you will be required to start at the very back of the race lineup, and I ask that you use great caution when passing other runners, giving them the "right of way".
