Packet Pickup

Be sure and check the box on the entry form where you plan to pick up your packet. Packets will be available at the following 1st Place Sports locations.

All packets that are not picked up at the above location will be moved to the Kennel Club for race day pick up.

Day of Race Registration and Packet Pickup will begin at 7:00 AM

Race Timing

The 8K course starts at Wells Road & US 17 and finishes at the Kennel Club. It is a USATF Certified Course (FL11046EBM) along the beautiful St. Johns River on River Road. The race will be timed using the ChampionChip (chip ms ut be worn on shoe or ankle during the race). Do not wear your personal chip if you sign up on race day.

Awards

8K AWARDS

Top 3 overall male and female, Top Masters & Grand Masters male and female. Age Group awards for the top 3 finishers in each age group as follows: 10 and under, 11-13, 14-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-)4, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79 and 80 & over. (No Multiple Awards). Awards ceremony at 10:00 AM.

Results will be posted on the white trailer adjacent to the finish line. You can also get your results on the internet at
here or at 1stplacesports.com after the race.

Course Information

This 8k course starts at Wells Rd and US 17, continues along the beautiful St. Johns River on River Road and finishes at the Orange Park Kennel Club. USATF Certified Course (FL11046EBM).

Preview the Course Map

Refreshments will be provided. Water Stations will be located at approximately 1.5 and 2.5 miles along the 8K course.

Due to safety concerns, no strollers or pets are allowed in the 8K or the Fun Run.

One Mile Fun Run

A FREE one mile fun starts at 9:30 AM in the field behind the Kennel Club. Entry forms are available race morning (do not mail in the Fun Run form). Ribbons to all finishers and participation money for elementary school.

Parking

Plenty of parking is available at the Kennel Club or across the street in the club's overflow parking lot next to McDonalds. Please do not park in the portion of the Kennel Club parking lot reserved for Poker Room clientele.

T-Shirts

The race fee includes refreshments and a high-quality technical running shirt!

Technical shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered 8K entrants.
